In North Texas homes from the 80s and 90s we find it often: soft subfloor around the tub, a rotted sill, a slow leak at the valve. We photograph it, price the fix in writing, and only proceed when you approve it. No surprise line items at the end.
Both. A tile shower rebuild or a tub surround replacement is a full job to us, not a favor. Vanity swaps and fixture updates are welcome when they come with a shower or floor, and we will tell you honestly if a job is better handled by a handyman.
